Bishops shortlisted for top professional inspirational business award

Leading Lancashire Chartered Accountancy firm Bishops is celebrating its recent shortlisting for the highly prestigious Be Inspired Business Award (BIBA) ‘Professional Practice of the Year’ 2016 category.

BIBA, organised by the North and Western Chamber of Commerce, is the county’s largest and longest-running business success recognition programme. Bishops has offices in Blackburn and Blackpool and works across Lancashire.

Bishops faced strong competition in the category, but the shortlisting panel was convinced its entry deserved to ascend to the next stage of the judging process.

Bishops’ Managing Director, Andrew Tabernacle, will face a formidable BIBA interview panel on 26 May, which he will need to evidence Bishops’ excellence in traditional and innovative service offerings and in client support and care.

He commented:

“We are delighted that Bishops’ dedication to providing clients with excellent services and customer care has been recognised in this shortlisting or the BIBA award.

This is recognition of our innovative approach to developing our practice to meet increasing market demand for accountants and business advisors. Our staff have such extensive knowledge of our clients and their business – and their own profession – to be able to deliver imaginative added value services in all areas of life and work.”
